Asphalt garage floor coating can be troublesome and inconvenient as it may crumble and sometimes slippery.
Modular garage floor coating
Modular floor covering is the most simple garage floor coating. There are two basic types of modular floor cover – PVC tiles and rubber flooring.
Polymer compositions form a continuous waterproof layer after installation. The main polymers are transparent but manufactures may add various additional materials – granite chips, quartz sand which makes them more attractive and gives them anti-slip properties.
Rubber garage floor coating has many advantages. First, it has a low cost. It is resistant to mechanical damage, chemicals do not stain the floor cover and do not destroy it. Rubber floors are not slippery and are resistant to extreme temperatures and are easily repaired. Water cannot damage rubber floors and even when they are soaking, they dry quickly.
