What is freakshake and why is it so popular? If you haven’t heard about the latest craze, we shall give you some ideas and freakshake recipes which will be the perfect treat on a hot summer day. After its debut in Australia, the freakshake quickly became popular around the globe.
So, what is a Freakshake? This is a milkshake lavishly topped and decorated with a variety of sweets: candy, waffles, whipped cream, nuts, syrups, plenty of colorful sprinkles, etc. In one word – this is a milkshake topped with everything! Should the ingredients be combined with each other? Not necessarily. The topping is not designed to delight with its sophisticated taste but to impress.
The main rule when creating such a cocktail is not to limit your imagination in anything and to use all the sweets that you have available at the moment. This amazing shake is especially fascinating to children but there is one thing that you should not forget and neglect. A freakshake is a calorie bomb. Yes, we all deserve a treat from time to time, but we do not recommend it to people who are on a diet or conscious about healthy lifestyle.
