- one 7 pound (3 kg) bone-in ham
- 1/2 cup (100 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 tablespoons paprika

- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- salt to taste

- 1/2 cup (120 ml) cherry jam
- 1/3 cup (70 g) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) bourbon
- 1/2 orange
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- salt to taste
How to make the glaze:
Prepare your sauce pan and add all the ingredients and cook them over medium heat until they simmer. Let them simmer for about 11 to 12 minutes and then remove the pan from the heat. Let it cook and keep in mind that the glaze will thicken when it cools off completely.
How to cook the ham:
- Preheat your oven to 350 °F (180 °C). While your glaze is cooling off, prepare your ham. Cover it will all of the ingredients using your hands. Make sure the ham is coated evenly with everything. Place it in an aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the ham carefully from the oven and remove the foil as well. Grab the glaze, use 1/2 to cover the entire ham.
