What do we celebrate during Black History Month? This is a 4-week period that we dedicate to learning more about the contributions and achievements of Black people throughout history. We remember the milestones of all the incredible people who fought to make this world a better and fairer place. Some things we can do during this time to enrich our historical knowledge are watch movies that touch on relevant topics, visit museums, and read books. For the little ones, a great way to introduce them to this annual celebration is via fun educational trivia.
