Get rid of ticks or fleas from your dog

In this solution, the power of the apple cider vinegar is strengthened with the natural made Castille soap.

Ingredients:

  • Pour 1 quart (1 L) warm water
  • Add 1 ounce of Castille soap
  • Add 2–3 drops of cedar or lavender oil

You should bathe your dog wearing gloves and a long-sleeved shirt. Treat your pet with this solution, using fingers to wet through fur to the skin. Be careful not to get the solution in the dog’s eyes. Let this bath solution stay for 9–10 minutes. If the infestation is bad, there should be a second bath. If your dog has fleas, use a flea comb, with which to comb the fur. Each time you comb out some of the fur, dip the comb in a bowl with the same solution to get rid of the fleas. Finally, rinse your pet with warm water.

There are some strong essential oils, apart from neem oil, that have similar effects to vinegar, but can be applied to your lawn.

Citrus fruits repellent

  • Take the peels of 3 lemons and 5 oranges
  • Boil them for 5–6 minutes
  • Let them stay in the water for 24 hours

While boiling the lemon and oranges peels, and especially after staying, the citrus oil will dissolve in the water. Now, it’s time to get rid of the parasites from all over the place you live. Pour the water into a spray bottle. With this fruit oil solution, you may spray not only your dog, but all around your house and on the lawn. Lemon juice in combination with witch hazel can be used for the same purpose.
