Why it’s important to foot detox and massage
It is very important that we take care of ourselves and with the speed of our lifestyles, it may seem impossible to take time out to do so. Massage is extremely relaxing and boosts your well-being immensely. It doesn’t even have to be a special trip to a masseuse. It is quite simple to massage our feet by ourselves or ask a partner. Massaging the feet can greatly improve mental health and anxiety also due to the pressure points on the soles of the feet. If pressed correctly, can work miracles.
What other types of products can be used?
There are many must have products for beautiful feet. There are lots available and come in the forms such as clay mask, foot scrub, foot fizz and snail extract cream. Snail extract is extremely beneficial for your feet, you can find special disposable socks which you put on your feet, they are filled with the extract and after a week or so, you should start to notice that the rough, dead skin will start to peel off. This leaves your feet feeling super silky soft! Another thing to remember is to invest some money into buying a good, quality foot cream to help keep them hydrated and smooth. Always check the back of the packaging to confirm whether it contains parabens and fragrances, The reason I mention to check the back is that these types of ingredients will dry out your feet more. Use creams with shea butter, Aragon oil and you can even use pure coconut oil. If you want to try something else, before going to sleep at night, apply your cream or preferred product and put some socks on to keep the cream on throughout the evening.
A word of advice…
Always make sure to check your nails also for any type of darkening of the nail. Athlete’s foot if found can be cured by over the counter creams or gels. Tea-tree oil can be used as an antiseptic, and foot detox soaks can be prepared especially for this.
