Boil beans for 8 minutes. Then drain. Take a large baking tray. Place beans, milk, mushroom soup, soy sauce, and 2/3 cup/ 120 gr of the fried onions. Stir. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Place the tray with the mix in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Take it out and stir the dish. Top with the remaining 2/3 cup/ 120 gr of the fried onions. What you will need:
- 3 cups/ 380 gr fresh green beans
- 2/4 cups/ 160 ml chicken broth
- 1/3 cup/ 75 gr grated cheese
- 1/2 cup/ 26 gr cut onion
- 1 cup/ 100 gr sliced mushrooms
- crispy onion strings
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 10.75 ounce/40 gr cream of mushroom soup can
- 2 tbls. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 tsp. black pepper
Preparation:
First, preheat the oven to 350 °F/ 180 °C. Take a large frying pan and melt the butter over medium heat. Put in the sliced mushrooms and minced onions in the pan, and sauté until they are tender. Stir occasionally. Add the minced garlic and cook for a few minutes. Remove the pan and set aside. Remove the ends of the fresh green beans and cut them in half. Take a saucepan big enough to put the beans and chicken broth. Boil. Cook the beans for 8 minutes until they are crisp-tender, then drain them. Take a large baking tray and spray it with cooking spray. In a big bowl, mix the green beans, soup, mushroom and garlic mixture, grated cheese, salt, and pepper. Place the mixture in the baking tray and cover with crispy onion strings on top. Put in the oven for 20 minutes, and then check if casserole is precisely cooked. Take out and serve. Good job!
