Here Are the Leftover Turkey Stroganoff Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 cups (340g) leftover turkey meat, shredded
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces/200g mushrooms,sliced
- ¼ cup (60ml) white wine
- ⅓ cup (80ml) chicken broth
- ¾ cup (180ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Parsley for garnish, optional
Instructions:
- Melt the butter in a large skillet on medium high heat.
- Saute onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5-8 minutes.
- Pour the wine, chicken broth and heavy cream, add the mustard and the leftover turkey. Cook until it starts to simmer – 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with parsley before serving.
