DIY Fall Leaf Place Card for Thanksgiving
Materials:
- Leaves
- Gold Paint
- Small Paint Brush
- Tulle (or container of choice – cheesecloth, mason jar, etc.
- A sharpie
- Baker’s Twine
- Mulling Spices
Directions:
Cut the tulle into circles.
Add your mulling spices into the center of the tulle circle.
Bundle them up and tie off with some baker’s twine.
Paint each leaf with gold paint, and allow to dry.
Use a sharpie to write the names of your guests on the leaves.
Add them to the mulling spice sachets. Simply tie a tight bow around the stem of the leaves.
Easy Thanksgiving Crafts – DIY Rosemary Wreath Place Cards
Materials:
- Rosemary sprigs
- Twine
- Scissors
- Floral wire (or twist ties)
- Name tags
Directions:
Cut the rosemary sprigs to a length of about 8 inch/20 cm. Hold them in a water bath for a bit to make them more flexible.
Tie the ends of the rosemary sprig together with floral wire.
Disguise the wire by tying beautiful twine bows.
Prepare name tags for each of the guests.
Place a tag with the guest’s name on each rosemary wreath.
DIY Ferrero Rocher Mini Pumpkin Place Card Holders
Materials:
- Ferrero Rocher chocolates
- Orange tissue paper
- Floral wire
- Twine
- Scissors
- Wire cutters
- Pencil
- Name tags
Directions:
Take off the brown cups of the Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
Cut a square of tissue paper about 6” x 6”(15x 15 cm.)
Place the Chocolate in the middle.
Take the floral wire and, using the wire cutters cut a piece of about 7 (18 cm) inches.
Wrap the wire around the pencil leaving about an inch (2,5cm) of straight wire at the bottom.
Take the two first loops and squish them together tight to make the place card holder.
Insert the flat end of the wire in the middle of the chocolate and bunch the tissue paper around it.
Tie the tissue paper with twine.
Cut the excess twine and tissue paper.
Insert the place card on top of the wire.
How to Make Gilded Pumpkin Place Cards
Materials:
- Spray adhesive
- Mini pumpkins
- Gold leafing
- Painters tape
- Sponge brush
Directions:
Wrap painters tape around the middle of the pumpkin, covering the bottom half.
Lightly coat one section of the pumpkin with spray adhesive.
Press the gold foil down on sticky section of the pumpkin, gently patting with the dry sponge brush. Then slowly peel back the wax paper- leaving only the gold foil.
Continue steps two and three on the entire top half of the pumpkin, filling in all the grooves. Then carefully peel off the tape and, using the same dry sponge brush, pat down the gold foil to ensure it lies flat.
DIY Thanksgiving Gold Corn Place Holders
Materials:
- Dried miniature Indian corns
- Gold spray paint
- Gold paint pen
Directions:
Spray the corns with gold spray paint avoiding the husk and allow to dry completely.
Write guests names on the husk of each corn with a paint pen.
Place golden corn place holders on each table setting.
