Christmas cocktails: Best recipes to ensure a great time during the holidays!
I always wonder, what are the best drinks to compliment all of my Christmas dishes. The answer is always red wine, but that can get a little boring. This year, I want to create the perfect Christmas dinner and serve drinks that everyone will enjoy! But, I also want to spend a little less time in preparation, and more time celebrating right? So, I have discovered the most simple, but stunningly delicious cocktails to make for your guests on Christmas. Let’s find out what are the recipes you must try out!
Jingle Juice holiday recipe
What is a Jingle Juice, you may ask? This is the best alcoholic Holiday punch that you will ever taste! The best part is that you can serve it in a bowl and everyone can fill their own cups whenever they like. It contains Prosecco, which already sounds very promising. Every time I read or hear the word Prosecco, I remember the famous TikTok “What’s your drink of choice?” Let’s find out the rest of the ingredients.
- 2 cups (450 ml) cranberry juice
- 2 cups (450 ml) apple juice
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (or 5 cinnamon sticks)
- a bottle of Prosecco
- 1 and 1/2 bottle red Moscato
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1 cup (200 g) frozen cranberries
- 3 limes sliced
- granulated sugar to garnish the glasses
Cut your limes and using one of them wet the rim of the glass. Use a large plate and pour some sugar. Dip the glass straight away, while it is still wet from the lime to create this frosty sugar effect. Then using a large bowl, pour all the ingredients. Stir very well and serve. I would suggest making this cocktail when your guests arrive, because the cranberries will still be frozen, and you won’t need ice.
Pineapple Upside Down Cake Shots
This shot was inspired by the famous dessert Pineapple upside down cake. It has the same sweetness, tenderness, but with vodka in it. The liquid tiny desert shot is perfect for the holidays, since it will bring the needed mood and sweet taste in your mouths. You don’t need the chaser for this one. You can have it before the desert, or I personally give this in the middle of dinner time, to prep everyone for the delicious dessert that I will be serving later. It is very easy to make and requite basically 3 ingredients. Let’s see how to make it!
- 1 oz (30 ml) vanilla vodka
- 1/2 oz (20 ml) pineapple juice
- a little bit of grenadine
- maraschino cherries and tiny slices of pineapple
Start by pouring the vodka into your shot glass. Then add the pineapple juice. Carefully add the grenadine, without making it splash. Leave it for one minute to go to the bottom, so you have this sunset effect. Garnish with cherries and tiny pineapple slices that you can hang on the glass.
Spiced Rum Christmas cocktail
Out of every Christmas cocktail I have ever had, this is the most special one. It is a signature Christmas cocktail, and it is spicy, flavorful and very delicious. You can make a non-alcoholic version if you don’t add the rum. But after all, spiced rum is the star of the show here! It is also made with pomegranate juice, which is one of our seasonal favorites. Check out the ingredients list and how to make this Christmas spicy deliciousness!
Ingredients for 4 cocktails:
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Spiced Gold Rum
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) pomegranate juice
- 4 cups soda
- juice from a squeezed lime
- pomegranate seeds for garnish
- rosemary to garnish
- ice (optional)
Grab four cocktail glasses and add ice if you want. Then pour the rum, juice, soda, freshly squeezed juice from the lime and garnish with rosemary and pomegranate seeds. If you want to make it extra Christmas-y, add some cranberries for decoration, or a cinnamon stick to use when you stir all the ingredients. Cinnamon is the perfect combination to spiced rum. It will enhance the flavor and make it more special.

This is another one of the amazing suggestions, how you can turn an all-time favorite into a Christmas cocktail. If you have some leftover cranberry sauce from your Thanksgiving dinner, you can use it to make syrup for this beautiful drink. There is no summer that has gone by, without me sipping on Aperol Spritz. What a wonderful idea it is to drink it during the winter as well!
