A stunning and modern boathouse with spectacular views by Myitr Malcew
A boathouse is not usually described using words as luxurious and very few are the people who connect sustainability, flexibility and nature with such houses. The usual perception of a boathouse is for lack of amenities and discomfort. Until this particular modern boathouse which unites all these words in a perfect symbiosis. The project is developed by the Singapore-based architect Myitr Malcew for the French developer H2ORIZON and is named the Floating house.
This stunning modern boathouse by Myitr Malcew is built on top of a buoyant platform and you can practically float with it wherever you wish. It could be docked anywhere in the world or just float to immaculate places like the Great Barrier Reef. The best about the design of the Floating house is that it offers beautiful, unobstructed views to its occupants. The floating house is designed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen with bar, all of these with large terraces. The internal arrangement of the space can be customized upon the individual requirements of the customers and this includes size, materials and finishes.
As the designer says – the inspiration behind this project is nature, openness and luxury, yet easy lifestyle and the design is developed for people who appreciate freedom and nature at their doorstep. The glass walls and the system of columns provide the panoramic sea views and cause the roof appear as if floating above the house. For keeping the privacy, the modern boat house is equipped with mobile outdoor claustras and wooden sliding panels. If you are a lover of flexibility and a life close to Nature, the Floating house shall offer you a whole new perspective in experiencing freedom in style and luxury.
