DIY pallet wine rack – instructions and ideas for racks and shelves
Projects for various pieces of furniture made of pallets are becoming very popular. If you have a free afternoon you can take the time and start with this interesting project for a DIY pallet wine rack.
The process of the construction of a DIY pallet wine rack is not so difficult. Begin by cutting the pallet in the middle of the lateral slit on both sides in two parts.
For a shelf you only need half a pallet, depending on how large the shelf would be. If you are really keen on the project, you might as well make a second shelf from the other half.
Next, remove the two top boards from the center that are transverse to the bottom and make a glass holder. Each shelf provides ample space for hanging up to eight glasses. You only need to measure the distance and mark the place for the holes where the glasses will be hung.
Cut the holes and make sure they are large enough. You must add a false bottom to separate the bottles of wine from glasses. If the pallet that you have used is not in a very good condition, you can decorate the finished shelf in any color.
If you are a lover of wine, you will surely already have enough bottles to fill your DIY pallets wine rack. This small and simple project is fun and can be made by anyone with just a few tools. The result looks simple but great, right? If you have a bar in your house, it will fit there perfectly. Of course, you could place it outside or next to the barbecue and it will definitely be a handy and eye catching piece of furniture.
