Ingredients:

  • 1 pound white melt and pour soap base
  • fruit fragrance oil
  • liquid soap colorant
  • wooden popsicle sticks
  • rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle

Instructions:

Cut one pound of soap base into one-inch cubes. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until completely melted.

Add liquid soap colorant until you achieve the desired color. Stir to fully incorporate the color.

Add the fragrance oil and stir to incorporate.

Slowly pour the liquid soap into the popsicle molds. Spritz the top of each one lightly with alcohol to burst any air bubbles, then add the sticks.

Allow to cool and harden for four hours, or overnight.

Remove soap from the molds.

  • white melt and pour soap base
  • clear melt and pour soap base
  • pink soap colorant
  • black sesame seeds or chia seeds
  • rubbing alcohol
  • essential oil or fragrance oil of your choice

Cut the white soap base into approximately 1″/2,5 cm chunks and place in a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until completely melted.

Add 1 tablespoon of seeds and a few drops of your essential oil or fragrance oil.

Mix in the seeds and oil and gently pour the melted soap into your popsicle mold 4/5 of the way up. Let set for 3-4 minutes then gently add your popsicle sticks to the soap. Let the soap set for 30 minutes to fully set.

Cut up the clear soap into 1″/2,5 pieces. Add a small amount (about 1 teaspoon) of the pink soap colorant and melt the soap until it just starts to bubble on the sides.

Spritz the soap in the mold with the rubbing alcohol and pour in the pink soap to the top of the mold. Allow to cool and harden for four hours, or overnight.

Pull on the popsicle stick to remove the soap from the mold.

  • Clear glycerin soap base
  • Soap Colorants
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Essential oil, of your choice, optional

Instructions:

Cut the glycerin soap base into approximately 1″/2,5 cm chunks and place in a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring each time, until completely melted. You will need about 2 cubes for each colored layer (for 4 popsicles).

Add the color and essential oil, if using, and stir to combine.

Divide the first color into the popsicles mold and spritz with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles and make sure each layer of soap sticks together. Add a popsicle stick.

Continue pouring each layer until the mold is full.

Allow to cool and harden for four hours, or overnight.

Boil a pot of water.  Quickly dip the mold in the water to release the soap pops.
