  • Felt in white & black
  • Small buttons (preferably black, but color choice is up to you)
  • Tread in white, black and red/orange
  • Ribbons in different colors and patterns
  • Small pompom for the nose
  • Scissors
  • Needle

How to make a felt snowman? 

  1. Start by cutting out a snowman shape from the white felt fabric. To make it easier on yourself, you can first outline its shape with a pencil and then simply cut it out as per the outlines.
  2. Then cut out a small hat for the snowman out of the black felt fabric. You can use the same method with the pencil.
  3. With a needle and black thread, sew the hat into the snowman shape.
  4. Sew as well the small button eyes, and use white thread to sew in the ones for the coat.
  5. Sew the small pompom with red/orange thread for the nose.
  6. Now take a small piece of ribbon and sew it into the back of the snowman to work as a hanger like in the picture above.
  7. Decorate your cute snowman craft with another ribbon to serve as its scarf, and you’re done! Let your children hang their creations on the Christmas tree and enjoy them.

  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Pompoms in different colors
  • Felt tip pens in black and orange
  • Piece of white paper
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive

How to create them? 

  1. Simply create a set of eyes, a smile and buttons for the toilet paper roll snowman with the black felt-tip pen.
  2. Then create a carrot-resembling nose with the orange pen.
  3. Cut out a small piece of the white paper to serve as the snowman’s headphones. Glue it to the corners like in the picture above.
  4. The glue to pompoms on each side. And you’re done!

An Easy Winter Landscape for Very Small Children

  • Blue cardboard paper

How to create an easy winter landscape?

  1. Help your little one glue three cotton pads on top of one another to form the body of a snowman.
  2. Draw his arms, mouth and eyes.
  3. Use whatever materials you like to create the nose and hat. Simplest idea would be to cut them out, out of colored paper.
  4. Then proceed to draw the stem of the tree. Glue three cotton pads to form its snowy crown.
  5. Glue the cotton wool to the bottom of the paper to create the snowy ground.
  6. Finish your winter landscape with the white felt-tip pen by adding small dots to resemble falling snow.
