DIY Paper Cup Easter Basket
Materials:
- Paper cup
- Yellow acrylic paint or tempera paint
- Yellow cardstock or construction paper
- Orange craft foam or construction paper
- Pipe cleaner or ribbon
- Wiggle eyes
- White glue
- Scissors
- Paint brush
- Hole punch
Instructions:
- Paint the cup in bright yellow.
- Once the paint dries, glue the googly eyes.
- Cut two small triangles from orange craft foam and glue them on the cup. This is going to be the beak of the chicken.
- For the feet, cut out a W letter from the orange craft foam and glue them at the bottom of the cup.
- Use yellow construction paper for the wings and glue them on the sides of the cup.
- Now make two holes on the cup with the punch.
- Punch a pair of holes on the cup—one hole above each wing and close to the cup’s mouth.
- Attach the pipe cleaner onto the holes.

DIY Cereal Box Easter Baskets for Kids – Easy and Fun DIY Project
Materials:
- A large cereal box
- Acrylic paint
- paint brushes
- Construction paper
- Double sided tape
- Cotton bud
- Lace or ribbon
- A black marker
- Tissue paper
- Glue stick
- Double sided tape
Instructions:
- Cut the cereal box in half.
- Paint it in yellow.
- Cut out two wing shapes from the remnants of the box and paint them yellow.
- Cut two strips of construction paper about 1 inch/3cm wide and glue them together. That will be the handle.
- Cut a small beak from pink paper and a slightly larger one from orange paper. Then glue the pink into the orange shape.
- Cut out two small circles from pink paper.
- Draw the eyes on white cardboard paper and cut them out.
- When you have all the facial features, glue them on the basket.
- Fix the handle with double sided tape.
For the polka dot Easter basket:
- Cut the cereal box in half and paint in a color of your choice.
- Use a cotton bud to make the polka dots.
- Cut two strips of construction paper about 1 inch/3cm wide and glue them together. That will be the handle.
- Cut two more strips around 2 inch/5cm wide and glue them around the basket. Glue the ribbon (lace) around the basket and tie it in a bow.
- Glue another strip of ribbon (lace) on the handle.
- Fix the handle in place with double sided tape.
- Place tissue paper inside the basket.
How to Make Easter Baskets for Kids from Craft Sticks
Materials:
- Wood Craft Sticks (colored or plain)
- Cardboard Tubes (Toile Paper Roll)
- Cardstock Paper
- Washi Tape
- Pipe Cleaners
- Glue
- Scissor
- Craft Jewels/Gems
Instructions:
- Cut a toilet paper roll tube into half.
- Cut out a circle from cardstock paper. Glue it on the end of the roll. That would be the bottom of the basket.
- Cut the craft sticks into the desired length and paint them, if you wish.
- Glue the craft sticks on the toilet paper roll. Let dry and decorate with washi tape.
- Cut the handle from a pipe cleaner and glue the ends inside the tube.

- Glass jars
- Paint

- Floral Wire
Instructions:
- Use the paint to decorate the jars.
- Once the paint is dry, make a handle from the floral wire. Make a loop on both ends.
