New Year’s Eve Cocktail Recipes
As much as I love sipping on a glass of sparkling wine during the NYE countdown, I’m never one to back down from a mouth-watering cocktail. My years of experience in hosting dinners and parties at my house have taught me that it’s always good to have a few cocktail recipes up your sleeve just in case you want to impress someone special, even if that’s your best friends or family. Today I’m sharing with you 5 of my go-to celebratory drinks that have absolutely never ever failed me!
Italian Gin & Tonic
Ingredients:
- 30 ml gin of choice
- 25 ml Campari
- 1 bottle of premium tonic water
- 5 ml orange bitters
- lemon or orange slices to garnish
Instructions:
- Take a cocktail glass and fill it with ice.
- First, add the gin, then the Campari.
- Pour 150 ml of the tonic water.
- Add the bitters using a spoon.
- Stir vigorously.
- Finish off with the lemon or orange slices.
Rosy Rose Champagne Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 30 ml dry gin
- 30 ml fruity spritz
- 15 Italian fernet
- Rose champagne
Instructions:
- Take a whiskey glass and fill it with ice.
- Add the gin, fruity spritz, and the fernet.
- Fill the rest of the glass with rose champagne, and stir.
- Decorate with flowers (optional).

Negroni Sbagliato
Ingredients:
- 30 ml Campari
- 30 ml red vermouth
- Prosecco
Instructions:
- Take a whiskey glass and fill it with ice.
- Add the Campari, then the vermouth.
- Stir vigorously.
- Top off with prosecco and stir again.
- Decorate with lemon peel.
Espresso Martini with a Chocolate Twist
Ingredients:
- 43 ml vodka
- 1 shot of espresso
- 30 ml chocolate liquor
- 30 ml Baileys
- Ice
- Sugar syrup
- Fine coconut flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Make the espresso and let it cool.
- In a shaker, add the ice, vodka, Baileys, and chocolate liquor.
- Take the martini glass, apply sugar syrup on the rim, and dip it in the coconut flakes.
- Then, pour the mixture inside.
- Add the espresso shot into the glass and serve.
Grog
Ingredients:
- 125 ml boiling water
- 63 ml dark Jamaican rum
- 30 grams of brown sugar
- a splash of lemon juice
Instructions:
- Pour the rum into a glass cup.
- Then, add the boiling water and stir.
- Add the brown sugar and lemon juice and stir again.
- Serve with a cinnamon stick and a slice of fresh lemon dipped in the cup.
