As you can tell from the name, it is a type of ice cream that is super easy to make and it is also ideal for people who have allergies or intolerance to dairy products. Usually, the nice cream is made from frozen bananas, as they are the main ingredient. Starting from there, you can add other ingredients that you love to get this fruity mixture. Today, I am going to show you how to make a Turmeric Chai Latte Nice Cream! Why Turmeric? Because it is very beneficial for the health and a lot of celebrities, like Bella Hadid, are having it in their smoothies daily.

Calories per serve: 78.5 

Ingredients for 4 nice popsicles:

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 1/3 tablespoon instant coffee powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric (ground)
  • A tiny pinch of saffron (optional)
  • 1/4 tablespoon ground cardamon
  • A pinch of ground ginger]
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 tablespoon cinnamon
  • A tiny pinch of ground black pepper
  • almonds or pistachio to garnish

Preparation:

  1. First, grab a small bowl and combine your coffee with 2 tablespoons of water. Mix well, until the coffee is completely dissolved.
  2. Put the bananas in a food processor. Now add the coffee as well.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and process it until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
  4. Divide the mixture into your ice cream forms and place a wooden ice cream stick. With this mixture you can make about 4 nice creams, they should look like what is shown on the photo above.
  5. Freeze for about 1 hour. Garnish with nuts or drizzle with honey.

  • 160 g (0.67 cups) almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 350 g (1.5 cups) heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon stevia
  • 1/2 tablespoon allulose syrup or powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • a tiny pinch of kosher salt

Preparation:

  1. Grab a bowl and put the cream cheese inside. Whisk it until smooth.
  2. Take a pan and combine the milk, heavy cream, allulose syrup or powder, stevia and vanilla extract. Whisk and leave the mixture to boil for about 4 minutes. You should whisk the entire time. Then add the xanthan gum and stir well. Add the salt and mix well. Gradually stir until everything is mixed together.
  3. Prepare a large bowl with iced water.
  4. Get the pan and place it in the large bowl with the iced water. Stir well until the mixture is cold.
  5. You can place the mixture into ice cream forms or simply freeze it for about 3 hours. Enjoy!
