PL2 by Seijo Peon Arquitectos y Asociados is a modern luxury house which immediately takes its place amongst the best dream homes. This contemporary home is a private residence in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico and was completed in 2013.

The project of this modern luxurious house by Seijo Peon Arquitectos y Asociados exploits the main view potential. The plot is situated in front of a lake and had to meet the challenge to orientate the building in a southwestward position. The architecture design features great open volumes, natural light and individual approach to meet the owners’ requirements. The challenging geometry of the plot and the owner’s preferences had a meeting point in a one floor house with stunning unconventional design. This dream home has one bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. Due to the fact that an entertaining area was of prior interest for the home owner, a large terrace and a pool provide the social area with adjoining service areas.

The main entrance of the modern luxury house crosses the terrace and the vast entertaining area. The living room, the dining room and the kitchen area are designed as a single space integrated with the bedroom and the terraces with an option to be separated. An original architecture solution is the design of the main bathroom which can be integrated to the bedroom and the united space provides the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding view.
