The Shamrock
One of the main symbols of St. Patrick’s Day is the shamrock. It is believed that St. Patrick used it to explain the unity of the Trinity to the pagans. He showed how the Father, Son and Holy Spirit could exist as separate elements of a whole. He also used the shamrock to stop pagan rituals in the Irish capital. That’s why we’re going to start with a few coloring pages of shamrocks! So prepare the festive green color and get to coloring!

Leprechauns
In addition to the shamrock and the green color, which symbolize life and the victory of spring over winter, leprechauns are also considered symbols of St. Patrick’s Day. These little fairy creatures from Irish folklore hide pots of gold, and they can grant any wish (but only if you catch them!). We’ve captured a few for you to color for good luck! Find them below!

Snakes
We decided to include some coloring pages with snakes. Legend says that it was Patrick who banished all snakes at the time, which is linked to the banishment of old, pagan religious beliefs and practices, as there is no evidence that snakes even existed in Ireland. The climate there was too harsh for them. Therefore, most people think the term “snakes” may be figurative.
