The poetry in lighting is presented to us by Foscarini with the amazing Frosted glass lantern table lamps which are a part of the Rituals collection. The challenge to translate the lightness of washi paper used in oriental lanterns into a group of glass lights is met spectacular way. East meets West in the Frosted glass lantern table lamps
Crafted from blown satin glass and lacquered metal in different yet complementary shapes the Frosted glass lantern table lamps were inspired from the traditional Japanese lanterns. The Rituals collection can be described with one word only – delicate. The round shapes emphasize the refined lighting while the magic of the rice paper complements the decorative effect of the lamps even if they are switched off. Despite the fact that the lamps seem randomly arranged they are in harmony with each other and as a group. The modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese lanterns will look perfect in any contemporary interior.
Frosted glass lantern table lamps – a modern interior design solution
Designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, who live and work in Milan, Italy, for Foscarini, Frosted glass lantern table lamps are created in two versions – table and pendant. In the table version the lamps give the feeling of floating in mid-air while in the pendant version the whole beauty of the shapes is delicately emphasized. Whichever version you decide to choose your living space will be lightened in more than one way.
